Human Resources Coordinator

Amsterdam

The Human Resources Coordinator will report in a matrix organization with dotted line reporting to the U.S. and NL Manager, Human Resources, based in the Netherlands. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources Department in the United States and Netherlands, ensuring effective and timely execution of HR related matters.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assists Talent Acquisition with recruitment of entry-level roles and scheduling of onsite, remote, or virtual interviews.
  • Provides HRIS support by entering employee information, including position management and employee data changes.
  • Administers new hire orientation and onboarding.
  • Assists in planning, preparing and executing employee related events.
  • Routinely runs various ad-hoc reports and documents to provide current employee information to the human resources department or for audits
  • Assists with the offboarding process and terminations.
  • Supports benefits by assisting with annual open enrollment and triage employee benefit related questions.
  • Provides HR project support as needed: Rewards and Recognition, Learning and Development, Totally Rewards and Talent Acquisition.
  • Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of Dutch labour law which apply to the functions of this position.
  • Provides prompt, courteous and professional responses to requests for personnel related issues.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Administer payroll adjustments for payroll of the NL employees.
  • No supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Computer literate including (MS Office-based Application), email (Outlook), spreadsheets (Excel) and presentation (PowerPoint) or equivalents.
  • Familiar with HRIS systems.
  • Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Superior verbal, written and overall communication skills in Dutch and English..
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks of varying priorities and function in a fast-paced l environment.
Education and Experience
  • Theoretical knowledge typically achieved through a related four-year college experience, such as a Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Two years experience as a Human Resources Coordinator or equivalent as an HR administrator.
