Laboratory Manager

Laboratory Manager

Amsterdam

Neogene Therapeutics is a pre-clinical stage biotechnology company aiming to change the paradigm of treatment for solid cancers. Our mission is to provide cancer patients with T cell therapies targeting mutated proteins called neo-antigens, which are present on cancer cells as a consequence of DNA mutations. Neogene is developing novel technologies to enable the engineering of ‘designer T cells’ with neo-antigen specificities that display an optimized ability to seek and destroy cancer cells.

For our R&D and our TCR discovery facilities located in Amsterdam, we are seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of Laboratory Manager to provide operational, technical, and administrative support through the management, planning, and allocation of resources. The R&D facility is responsible for development of our TCR discovery and T cell engineering platforms, while the personalized TCR discovery team is responsible for isolating neo-antigen specific TCRs from a cancer patient’s tumor biopsy & characterizing these tumor derived TCRs in a clinical laboratory setting. Following isolation and characterization, neo-antigen specific TCRs are selected and used for the manufacture of a fully personalized multi-specificity neo-antigen specific TCR engineered T cell therapy product that is used to treat the cancer patient. Reporting to the Vice President of R&D and the Director of the personalized TCR discovery team, the individual will assume responsibility for managing laboratory operations on a day-to-day basis.

  • Run routine operational checks and/or calibrations on instruments, and schedule regular laboratory equipment maintenance services by vendors, ensuring thorough record-keeping of repairs and maintenance documentation.
