Senior Specialist Warehouse and Materials Management

Neogene Therapeutics is a pre-clinical stage biotechnology company aiming to change the paradigm of treatment for solid cancers. Our mission is to provide cancer patients with T cell therapies targeting mutated proteins called neo-antigens, which are present on cancer cells as a consequence of DNA mutations. Neogene is developing novel technologies to enable the engineering of ‘designer T cells’ with neo-antigen specificities that display an optimized ability to seek and destroy cancer cells.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of Warehouse and Materials Specialist/ Sr Specialist, depending on experience.  This position is located at Neogene’s TCR Selection Facility in Amsterdam, Netherlands to support warehouse and inventory management processes and ensure efficient operations for clinical trial execution.  This role reports to the TCR Selection Facility Site Supply Chain Lead.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Execute raw materials receiving processes to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Execute patient-specific materials receiving processes to ensure product traceability and the start of the TCR selection process
  • Coordinate movement of materials to ensure timely supply to TCR selection laboratory rooms to meet operational demands via Kanban and other inventory management methods
  • Conduct cycle count processes to ensure accuracy and control of inventory volumes
  • Execute shipping processes of incoming patient-specific materials and outgoing samples
  • Place purchase orders for materials per inventory policy plans
  • Set up warehouse spaces including implementation of policies, procedures and processes for warehouse operations and materials management
  • Write and update SOPs and Work Instructions
  • Propose and participate in continuous improvement activities for operational efficiency
  • Support implementation of inventory management systems
  • Support schedule tracking of overall end-to-end supply activities
  • Work in collaboration with TCR selection and Quality teams to support smooth operations
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years with BS/BA or equivalent industry experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
  • Direct experience and knowledge in warehousing, materials management, logistics, cold chain operations, trade compliance, and Good Distribution Practices.
  • Knowledgeable with cGxP as well as regulatory regulations and compliance requirements for cell therapy and pharmaceutical industry.
  • Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems
  • Can work independently and plan schedules and activities to accomplish objectives
  • Can act as a primary contact on projects or business processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly fluid company environment and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities.
