Neogene Therapeutics is a pre-clinical stage biotechnology company aiming to change the treatment paradigm for solid cancers. Our mission is to provide cancer patients with T cell therapies targeting mutated proteins called neo-antigens, which are present on cancer cells as a consequence of DNA mutations. Neogene is developing novel technologies to enable the engineering of ‘designer T cells’ with neo-antigen specificities that display an optimized ability to seek and destroy cancer cells.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT manager who reports to the VP and Head of IT to provide hands-on leadership for the operation and support of the core computing environment for the company. This position is responsible for direct consultative support on information technology-based systems, primarily in the areas of hardware resources, application software, and network support.

This position will create and manage escalation procedures, ensure service levels are maintained, and provide “hands-on” user support for day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support of internal applications. The expectation is that this person will be on-site 4 to 5 days a week at our Santa Monica facility to maintain and support the technology infrastructure and develop new solutions as needed through project work.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • The individual is responsible for providing outstanding end-user technical support along with excellent communication and customer service.
  • Provide administrator-level hands-on-keyboard support for all referenced technology platforms
  • Coordinate all IT related activities for changes and support to systems, applications, platforms, hardware, and software of new and existing office locations
  • Deliver services at all levels in the organization, emphasizing Executive level support.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to listen to the user’s concerns, identify problems and develop a plan for resolving.
  • Establish and maintain a positive, productive relationship with operational partners and staff.
  • Plan, organize, schedule, and supervise the day-to-day technical support activities, including troubleshooting, customer service issues, approvals, and installations.
  • Measure, monitor, and maintain team’s ability to meet or exceed contact and resolution Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and processes
  • Ensure robust 24×7 operational capability of critical IT functions
  • Manage computing hardware and software assets
  • Drive continuous improvement of business and IT processes
  • Keep current with the latest technologies and determine what new technology solutions and implementations will meet business demand.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in Information Technology and End User Services.
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Information Systems or related field.
  • Good understanding of of Cloud application services including AWS, AZURE, O365
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, tools and operating systems, including: Windows, Linux Administration, Mac OS, office 365, MDM tools, Azure Active Directory, MS Endpoint Manager, SSO/MFA, MS Teams, Zoom, Cisco Meraki, IOS/Android, file sync and share tools, etc.
  • Good understanding of ISP Architecture, LAN/WAN design and implementation, firewall implementation, unified wireless access with Cisco Meraki technologies, Active directory services, Linux and Windows server platforms, file sharing, backup/recovery and disaster recovery, SaaS/PaaS technologies, and cybersecurity technologies.
  • Hands on experience across multiple technology domains a strong plus, especially in core infrastructure, systems infrastructure including Linux and cybersecurity.
  • Managing internal website, Automation and Programing experience is a plus
  • Industry recognized technology certifications, specifically in enterprise architecture, vendor specific core infrastructure such as AWS/Azure/ storage and networking, and service delivery.
  • Experience and knowledge of Service Now, ITIL governance and practices.
