Senior Scientist, Analytical Development

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Scientist to join the Analytical Development team. The Senior Scientist, Analytical Development focuses on the development of fit-for-purpose cellular assays using flow cytometers for characterizing patient-derived neo-antigen specific TCRs. The Sr. AD scientist will also be key players for implementing of technology platforms, assay transfer and assay qualification. Additionally, this role contributes to the optimization of laboratory and qualification of cellular assays using flow cytometers together with our personalized TCR selection team in Netherlands. This position is based out of Amsterdam, Netherlands and reports directly to the Director, Analytical Development.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop, qualify, and validate analytical assays that are intended for T-cell therapy drug substance characterization and drug products release using flow cytometers.
  • Perform routine assays as a QC personnel using flow cytometers and/or immunoassays.
  • Author assay reports with solid datasets to evaluate assay characteristics.
  • Assist the establishment and operation of quality control analytical functions, including equipment management, sample management and reagent inventory.
  • Support cross-functional projects with research, process development and manufacture.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, or related scientific discipline with 2+ years of relevant industry experience OR MS (in aforementioned disciplines) with 6+ years relevant industry experience.
  • Extensive experience in executing assays and analyzing data using multi-color flow cytometry, such as FACSLyric, LSRFortessa, or other flow cytometers. Data analysis using Flowjo is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge in immunology with hands-on experience working with T cells is preferred.
  • Experience for author analytical assay and data to support the IMPD filing is preferred.
  • Working experience in a regulated environment (GLP, GMP or CLIA) is preferred.
  • First-hand experience in cell-based assays (e.g., Live imaging, ELISA, or MSD) is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills for scientific studies and projects.
