Heather has held various leadership roles in the biopharmaceutical industry with responsibilities for development, validation, quality systems build and oversight, clinical and commercial operations and CMC product strategy within both established and start-up organizations including Amgen, Baxter, Boehringer Ingelheim, Kythera Biopharmaceuticals and Kite Pharma. Before joining Neogene in early 2021 as Head of Manufacturing & Facilities, she contributed to the successful commercialization of CAR-T therapies including YESCARTA™ and TECARTUS™ during her tenure at Kite Pharma. Heather has more than 20 years of experience in operations and expertise in cell therapy product manufacturing, quality operations and leadership development. Heather earned her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University, Tempe and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of Southern California, Los Angeles.
